A high-growth, VC-backed SaaS company hiring its founding India APM

Location: Remote (India)

This SaaS company is putting together its first India product team and has partnered with Flexiple to hire its APM. At this stage, an APM isn't shadowing a roadmap someone else owns - you're running discovery calls, writing the spec, and watching the feature ship, usually inside the same sprint or two. Flexiple is the managed marketplace behind this hire, helping fast-growing companies build teams in India.

What the role actually is

You will sit in on customer calls and support tickets to understand where the product is genuinely falling short, turn that into a written problem statement and a rough spec, and work directly with a designer and 2-3 engineers to get it built. You'll define what done actually looks like for a feature - the metric it should move - and track that after launch instead of moving straight to the next thing. You'll also do the unglamorous parts: competitor teardown notes, release notes, onboarding-flow QA.

What gets you shortlisted

0-3 years of experience, ideally with some exposure to a B2B or SaaS product (internship counts)

Sharp, structured written communication - specs and updates that don't need a follow-up call

Basic comfort with data (SQL, Mixpanel, or similar) or a fast willingness to learn it

Genuine curiosity about why users behave the way they do, not just what they click
