Who We’re Looking For

State Street Alpha is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Product Manager to help drive the next generation of our Enterprise Data Management (EDM) platform services. You’ll help shape cloud-native, independently deployable data services that help some of the world’s largest investment firms master, govern and distribute their data at scale.

This role suits a product manager with 12+ years of experience in data management or financial software who is ready to own significant capability areas. Reporting to the EDM product lead, you will own requirements and delivery for capabilities across entity and identifier resolution, reference data management, extensible data models and release management.

You’ll work closely with engineering, architecture and client teams to turn business needs into well-defined, prioritized features that deliver measurable client value.

What you'll bring

Minimum 12+ years of combined experience in product management or business analysis for software products, ideally in Capital Markets & Financial Services, Enterprise SaaS.
Enterprise data management experience, including exposure to security master, entity resolution, identifier cross-referencing or reference data.
Strong domain knowledge of financial markets and the investment lifecycle, including securities, issuers, pricing, portfolios and transactions.
Proven ability to write high-quality requirements and lead requirements gathering with business and technical stakeholders.
Working understanding of cloud-native, API-driven and multi-tenant architectures; SQL and data analysis skills are a plus.
Familiarity with market data providers (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv, ICE, MSCI) is a plus.
Experience with Agile delivery and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Polished communication skills and the credibility to engage senior stakeholders and clients.
Ability to work as part of a global, distributed organization.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or a related field; progress toward CFA or CAIA is desirable.
Experience with investment management platforms such as Charles River IMS is a plus.
