Principal Product Manager IT/OT D-Hub

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Principal Product Manager is responsible for the overall product vision, strategy and roadmap across a specific Platform or domain and works on the hardest problems within the Platform. They make specific contributions to Product and Platform delivery by working directly with Product Squads within the Platform to ensure each product is oriented toward business outcomes that improve company performance. The Principal Product Manager partners directly with the Platform Lead and their teams to deliver. The Principal Product Manager is an expert communicator that represents the Platform by presenting to senior leaders across Bayer and externally to accelerate digital transformation and build Bayer’s reputation as a digital leading company.

What you'll bring

Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar or minimum 4 years equivalent practical experience in addition to:
10 or more years of experience as a product manager
5 or more years of experience with Agile development and DevOps

Nice to have

Demonstrated ability to lead through influence initiatives that involve cross-functional teams from initiation to delivery
Demonstrated experience with Design Thinking, user-centered design & user analysis
Ability to establish and manage initiatives against a set of key metrics and goals
Expert analytical, management and organizational skills
Expert verbal and written communication abilities: must effectively communicate with technical and non-technical people
Expert Experience in building product vision, product roadmap, product strategy, and competitive analysis
Proven experience in designing, developing, delivering or leading digital solutions in a large-scale, highly complex global environment
Strong strategic planning and decision-making skills with ability to evolve solution strategy based on research, data and industry trends
