To leverage data, analytical techniques and business insight to identify opportunities, solve strategic business problems and optimize customer outcomes across the Financial Assistance customer journey. This role will support data-driven decision-making by delivering insights, evaluating performance and recommending actions that balance customer, commercial and risk objectives.

What you'll do

Applying analytical and business thinking to solve complex customer, strategy and operational challenges within Financial Assistance.
Understanding customer behavior across the financial difficulty journey, including early signs of stress, collections and recoveries.
Translating ambiguous business problems into structured analytical approaches and actionable recommendations.
Using SQL, Python and/or SAS to manipulate, analyze and interpret large and complex datasets.
Conducting exploratory analysis, root cause investigations, customer segmentation and performance evaluations.
Synthesizing data, business context and stakeholder requirements to generate impactful insights and drive strategic outcomes.
Presenting clear, data-driven recommendations to senior management through compelling storytelling and effective communication.
Partnering with Strategy, Operations, Risk, Product, Data and Technology teams to influence decision-making and deliver business outcomes.
Ensuring robust data quality, governance and controls throughout the analytical lifecycle.
Desirable skillsets / good to have:
Experience within Financial Assistance, Collections, Recoveries, Credit Risk or Retail Banking.
Knowledge of consumer lending products and customer credit lifecycles.
