We are seeking a Jira Product Discovery / Product Portfolio Management Consultant to support the CRM of the Future Program / Martech organization in implementing and optimizing Jira Product Discovery (JPD) as the strategic Discovery and roadmapping platform for portfolio management. The resource will be responsible for designing and setting up the JPD environment, migrating existing roadmap information from Roadmunk, establishing effective prioritization and roadmap views, and enabling seamless connectivity between product discovery and delivery.

What you'll do

Configure and establish Jira Product Discovery spaces, including the design and organization of idea structures, fields, workflows, and relevant portfolio information
Lead the migration of existing roadmap data from Roadmunk to Jira Product Discovery, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and appropriate structure
Design and configure JPD views to support product prioritization, roadmap planning, portfolio visibility, and connection to delivery activities
Develop and maintain consolidated roadmaps across Product Lines and Business Lines, providing different roadmap views tailored to the needs of various stakeholder groups
Establish effective integration and traceability between product discovery, prioritization, roadmaps, and delivery execution
Provide day-to-day Jira Product Discovery administration and support to Scrum Masters, Product Managers, and other users
Support users with best practices around idea management, prioritization, roadmap creation, stakeholder views, and portfolio reporting
Engage effectively with executive leadership, Product Managers, Scrum Masters, delivery teams, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective JPD solutions
Facilitate stakeholder discussions and provide recommendations on portfolio organization, roadmap structures, prioritization mechanisms, and tool adoption
Drive user adoption by providing guidance, knowledge transfer, documentation, and ongoing operational support
Identify opportunities to improve portfolio management processes and maximize the value of Jira Product Discovery as the organization's discovery and roadmapping platform
Ensure the JPD environment remains aligned with evolving business, product, and delivery requirements throughout the engagement

What you'll bring

10-14 years of overall experience in IT
Expertise in Jira Product Discovery (JPD) and the broader Jira ecosystem
Background in Product Portfolio Management, Product Management, Discovery, and roadmapping
Skills in configuring Jira Product Discovery spaces, ideas, fields, views, and roadmap structures
Experience with Roadmunk migration or migration of roadmap/portfolio data between tools
Understanding of Agile, Scrum, Product Management, and software delivery processes
Experience creating executive, product-line, business-line, and stakeholder-specific roadmaps
Understanding of prioritization frameworks and portfolio visualization
Capability to connect product discovery and roadmap planning with delivery execution
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across executive and delivery organizations
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and consulting skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
