Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced *Product Manager – OpenShift* to take ownership of the strategy, roadmap, backlog and prioritisation of an enterprise OpenShift platform.

The platform is already established, so this role focuses on *platform evolution, roadmap development, success metrics, adoption, capacity, reliability, security and technical debt management* rather than building a product from zero.

Key

What you'll do

Own product strategy, roadmap, backlog and prioritisation for the OpenShift platform.
Manage platform demand across XaaS teams while balancing feature requirements with sustainability, capacity, security, reliability and technical debt.
Identify and drive adoption of new platform capabilities.
Work closely with Platform Engineering, Architecture, Security and XaaS Product teams.
Define and track platform KPIs.
Establish and manage Platform SLAs, including *SLOs and SLIs*.
Translate complex technical requirements into clear product priorities and measurable outcomes.
Required Experience & Skills
9+ years of professional experience.
Proven experience as a Product Manager for an *internal platform or infrastructure product*.
Experience working in highly technical, engineering-led environments.
Strong understanding of the *OpenShift ecosystem* and modern platform engineering practices.

OpenShift certification
Red Hat certification
Strong engineering or technical background
Important Note
This position specifically requires OpenShift experience. OpenStack experience alone will not be considered equivalent*, as OpenStack and OpenShift are different platforms.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should be technically strong and comfortable working with engineering teams and technical platform requirements, including areas such as *container platforms, networking constructs and pod limits*, while applying strong Product Management principles.
