1. Position Purpose

The Product Manager for Mors Smitt RMS Power &

What you'll do

2.1 Product Strategy and Roadmap
Own the development, maintenance and recommendation of product and
technology strategies for the assigned portfolio, ensuring alignment with the
Engineering Director, business leadership team and RTPE strategic objectives.
Develop clear product roadmaps, portfolio positioning and business cases.
Analyse market, customer and competitor data to inform long-term product
direction.
Ensure alignment with RTPE and Wabtec strategic objectives.
2.2 Product Lifecycle Management
Manage the full product lifecycle from introduction to end-of-life.
Accountable for portfolio performance, including revenue, margin, cost,
reliability and competitiveness.

What you'll bring

Capture and prioritise customer, market and regulatory requirements.
Maintain product requirements documents and value propositions.
Ensure customer requirements are translated into clear, measurable engineering
Support validation of new products with key customers and stakeholders.
2.4 Customer, Market and Sales Support
Engage directly with OEMs, utilities, distributors and end users to drive insight
and growth.
Provide technical and commercial input to tenders and pricing decisions.
Deliver product training for internal teams and customers.
Act as second-line support for technical and application queries.
Support pricing strategy and value-based pricing initiatives.
Monitor market trends, competitor oerings and emerging technologies.
