What you'll do

Develop and maintain product roadmaps for assigned product lines, using customer insights, market intelligence, competitive analysis, and business performance data to prioritize opportunities and define strategic direction.
Conduct portfolio reviews to evaluate product performance, identify growth opportunities, and support lifecycle management decisions.
Support product positioning and platform strategies to ensure offerings remain competitive and aligned with broader portfolio objectives.
Coordinate product certification activities and collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure timely execution.
Monitor business performance metrics, including orders, revenue, profitability, and product mix, and recommend strategies to improve results.
Lead assigned new product development initiatives through stage-gate processes, defining market requirements, business cases, and commercial priorities while aligning cross-functional stakeholders.
Develop market and product requirement specifications that translate customer and market needs into actionable development plans.
Drive product enhancement initiatives that support business growth and customer satisfaction.
Partner with engineering teams to support engineer-to-order and configure-to-order strategies, helping identify opportunities for standardization and scalability.
Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to support delivery performance, product availability, and manufacturing strategies .
Work with pricing teams to maintain pricing structures, product configurations, and value-based pricing strategies.
Analyze pricing performance, competitive positioning, and profitability trends to identify opportunities for optimization.

For This Role, You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Experience in product management, product marketing, business development, or a related commercial role within an industrial, manufacturing, or technology-focused environment.
Demonstrated success managing products throughout the lifecycle, including strategy development, market analysis, product launches, pricing, and portfolio optimization.
Strong commercial and business acumen with the ability to evaluate business cases, pricing strategies, and financial performance.
Experience working with pricing tools, product configuration systems, CRM platforms, ERP systems, or similar business applications.
Ability to gather and synthesize customer feedback, market intelligence, and competitive insights to inform strategic decisions.
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across engineering, sales, operations, finance, marketing, and other business functions.
Effective written, verbal, and presentation communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and other standard business tools.
Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, as needed, to support business objectives .
