Cohesity is looking for a Senior Product Manager to drive execution for our Filesystem & Storage portfolio. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role. You'll own execution for a defined area of our filesystem and storage platform spanning customer-managed and cloud SaaS working in tight partnership with engineering, UX, and go-to-market teams, directly with customers across the globe.

Own the roadmap and PRDs for your area within Filesystem & Storage driving innovation and adoption across

What you'll do

Enterprise file systems and storage protocols (NFS, SMB, S3, etc.), Scale-out and distributed storage architecture, Data mobility, interoperability, and platform performance, Storage efficiency, resiliency, and scalability at petabyte scale, Cloud/hybrid-cloud extensions, and adjacent agentic AI-driven data management.
Go deep with engineering, daily — understand system internals well enough to drive real design conversations, not just requirements hand-offs.
Work through disagreements with engineering using data and trade-off framing — not by pulling rank or escalating by default.
Own release trade-off calls when scope, quality, and timeline conflict, and communicate the “why” clearly.
Stay engaged from PRD through design review, build, GA, and beyond. Shipped is the starting line, not the finish.
Define success metrics before you ship and track them after: adoption, usage depth, retention, support tickets, NPS/CSAT.
Be the voice of the customer — keep a constant pulse on markets, competitors, and technology trends to spot opportunities and risks early.
Partner with Marketing on packaging, pricing input, blogs, and launch events for your area.
Track your product after it ships — revisit adoption and quality data at 30/60/90 days and feed learnings back into the roadmap.
You'll partner closely with:
A Principal PM or Head of Product for Filesystem & Storage, aligning your execution with the broader roadmap.
Peer PMs across adjacent areas of the Cohesity platform.
