About the role

What you'll do

• Technical to help create the most trusted and delightful end-to-end purchase and payments CX for Books customers world-wide. You will develop the strategy and vision for this charter and collaborate with an engineering team to oversee the development of related products and features.

• The ideal candidate is highly analytical, demonstrates strong judgment, can work effectively across a matrix organization, and has a proven history of creating delightful customer experiences and delivering results. Experience in the payments and ordering space is a plus.
• A day in the life
• Product Vision and Ownership: End-to-end accountability; leads strategy, value proposition, game-changing ideas, evolution. Focuses on customer delight. Ensures we're focused on the right metrics for the business.
• Customer: What problem are we solving? How can we add more value for customers? Where can we invent?
• Product Development/Roadmap: Defines functional, user experience, legal and other business requirements. Manages feature prioritization; helps engineering, operations, and creative make the right CX trade-offs.
• Compliance headwinds: Adeptly navigates urgent compliance requirements, defines goals, and brings them to fruition through collaboration with tech, legal, and local partners.
