Senior Product Manager

Mandatory Skills and Experience

The candidate should have 8+ years of overall experience, including at least 5 years as a Product Manager owning a product or platform end to end.

Strong insurance domain knowledge is required, with a preference for health insurance underwriting experience covering the proposal lifecycle, medical underwriting, pre-existing diseases (PED), loadings, exclusions, counter-offers and moratorium.

The candidate should have working knowledge of IRDAI regulations and Master Circulars relevant to health insurance.

The candidate should demonstrate proven ownership of product roadmaps and the ability to prioritise competing business-as-usual (BAU) and transformation demands.

The candidate must be able to write clear and concise product requirement documents (PRDs), user stories, business rules and acceptance criteria.

Strong data fluency is required, including the ability to define metrics, build funnels, interpret dashboards and work with SQL and Excel.

Experience with rules engines or decisioning systems and API-based integrations is required.

The candidate should have Agile/Scrum product ownership experience and be familiar with tools such as Jira and Confluence.

The candidate should have a track record of delivering measurable outcomes such as turnaround time (TAT), conversion, cost improvements and loss ratio, rather than focusing only on feature delivery.
