About the role

What you'll do

• We are hiring a Senior Director of Product to sit alongside the Chief Product Officer as a balanced strategist and operator, and to co-own the Velocis product ecosystem. You will help shape the two-year product strategy and you will own the roadmap, prioritisation and specification sign-off that turn it into shipped platform. Engineering, infrastructure operations, design and go-to-market are your delivery partners, and product holds the pen on what gets built and in what order.
• You will move between whiteboarding high-density cluster architecture with an executive buyer in one hour and running a deep specification review with a product manager in the next. Both are the job.
• What you will own?Product strategy and roadmap
• Co-own the 12 and 24 month strategy for Velocis across GPU as a service and the AI platform, and hold the roadmap, prioritisation and specification sign-off end to end.
• Ship the Velocis AI platform stack and move straight into post-launch feature velocity, reliability, and the Day-0 and Day-1 user journey.
• Keep a live read on the global AI infrastructure landscape, across orchestration layers, sovereign cloud, inference economics and power and density, so Velocis holds its edge.
• Team and craft
• Lead, mentor and hold accountable a team of four or more product managers across the core Velocis modules.
• Build a product culture of extreme ownership, technical precision and fast feedback, and raise the hiring bar as the team grows.
• Coach high-potential talent and step in where a track needs lift.
• Enterprise commercials and offtake
• Partner with the CPO and CEO on offtake opportunities from 1,000 to 8,000 GPUs, shaping orchestration specs, tenant isolation and SLA commitments.

What you'll bring

• Ten or more years in product management, with four or more leading product teams. Hands-on experience in GPU computing, AI or ML orchestration or HPC is ideal, and strong candidates from adjacent large-scale cloud or general-purpose cloud infrastructure, with the ability to ramp fast, will be considered.
• A track record of shipping complex B2B infrastructure products from concept to meaningful revenue scale.
• Fluency across GPU infrastructure on NVIDIA and AMD, container and workload orchestration such as Kubernetes, Slurm and Ray, VPC and network topologies, object storage and dedicated inference pipelines.
• Working command of multi-tenancy and tenant isolation, observability and cost attribution, sovereign deployment patterns such as air-gapped clusters and customer-managed keys, and inference economics measured as cost per token and P99 latency.
• Commercial fluency, so that you connect product decisions to gross margin, resource efficiency and customer return.
