DESCRIPTION

The Outbound and Flow team within Amazon Fulfillment Technologies (AFT) is looking for an experienced Product Manager (Technical) to own the vision and strategy for Routing and Mansort products, based out of Bangalore. Our team provides the products and services responsible for outbound fulfillment — ingesting shipments from upstream systems (SCOT) and processing them through picking, packing, and shipping. Our vision is to improve customer experience — Delivery Estimate Accuracy (DEA), Speed, Quality, and Cost — while improving associate safety and simplifying our operations. We do so by building products that are highly reliable, resilient, self-healing, scalable, extensible, and designed from the start with a focus on the safety and accessibility of our workforce.

As a Product Manager (Technical) — L6 for Routing and Mansort, you will define, execute, and deliver a product roadmap that optimizes how units and packages are routed through the fulfillment center and how manual sortation (Mansort) operations are streamlined for throughput, quality, and cost. You will strongly influence the strategy and vision for the group, and develop and maintain product roadmaps and features grounded in team strategy. This role is inherently cross-functional — you will work closely with engineering, science, operations, and business teams across geographies to launch features and build the tools and mechanisms that scale Routing and Mansort worldwide.

What you'll do

Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap priorities by working backward from customer needs, conducting research, analyzing usage data and market trends, and translating insights into clear problem statements and requirements.
Drive cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, science, finance, and operations partners to deliver products on time and with high quality, aligning stakeholders and making smart trade-offs when data is incomplete.
Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept through launch and beyond, including defining success criteria and key performance indicators, monitoring operational health, and iterating based on performance metrics and customer feedback.
Evaluate technical proposals and participate in architecture discussions, understanding how technical choices influence customer outcomes and balancing feature delivery with long-term system health and scalability.
Leverage generative AI tools and emerging technologies to accelerate development cycles, improve decision-making, and unlock new opportunities for product innovation.
